Never in French can be expressed in the following way:
- ne [verb] jamais = never

Je ne vais jamais abandonner.
I am never going to give up.
Tu ne parles jamais.
You never talk.
Elle ne va jamais à Paris.
She never goes to Paris.
Nous ne sommes jamais satisfaits.
We are never satisfied.
Vous n’êtes jamais chez vous.
You are never home.
Ils n’écoutent jamais.
They never listen.
In every example you can see that “ne…jamais” gets wrapped around the verb.
I have highlighted the verb blue in all of the examples, so you always know which of the words is the verb.
Please note that ne becomes n’ when in front of a vowel or mute h.
