Pronunciation of Lire Conjugations
In this section on lire conjugation in the imparfait we will focus on pronunciation.
There is 1 important rule to take into account when we want to pronounce a lire conjugation in the imparfait.
- The je, tu, il/elle/on, and ils/elles form all have the same pronunciation. It is just the lisai part that gets pronounced.
Je lisais
Tu lisais
Il lisait
Ils lisaient
All these VERBS have the same exact pronunciation.
You don’t pronounce the letters in red.
