Not Anything in Spanish

To say “not anything” in Spanish you will use no + verb and follow it with nada.

Please have a look at some examples:

No recuerdo nada de anoche.

I don’t remember anything from last night.

Carla dice que ella no ha escuchado nada.

Carla says she hasn’t heard anything.

You can also say “not anything” in Spanish in negative questions.

¿No quieres beber nada?

Don’t you want to drink anything?

¿No hay nada que quieras contarme?

Isn’t there anything that you would like to tell me?

Nothing in Spanish = Nada

To say “nothing” in Spanish you will place “nada” at the beginning of a sentence.

Here are some examples:

Nada es lo que parece.

Nothing is as it seems.

Nada dura.

Nothing lasts.
