How to form the Superlative of French Verbs

You will use the following construction to say the most and the least:

  • [verb] le plus / le moins = [verb] the most / the least

Je pense que Paul est celui qui travaille le moins.

I think that Paul works the least.

Es-tu celui qui a le plus de points ?

Are you the one that has the most points?

Alexandra est celui qui dort le moins de nous tous.

Alexandra sleeps the least of all of us.

Quelle est l’activité que vous détestez le plus ?

Which activity do you hate the most?

Qu’est-ce que vous aimez le plus ?

What do you like the most?

Ce sont eux qui ont fait le moins de repas.

They have made the fewest meals.

Please note that there is no agreement in gender for verbs.

This means that you will always use “le“.

This is because verbs do not have a gender.
