Que [Without Accent]
Que is a relative pronoun or a conjunction.
Que means “that” or “which/who”.

El doctor dice que hoy no podremos visitarla.
The doctor says we won’t be able to visit her today.
A mi novio, que es ingles, le encanta la paella valenciana.
My boyfriend, who is English, loves Valencian paella.
Qué [With Accent]
Qué will be used in exclamatory sentences, and with direct/indirect questions.
Qué means “how” or “what”.

What time was it when you went to bed?
El profesor nos ha preguntado qué nos gusta hacer en nuestro tiempo libre.
The teacher asked us what we like to do in our free time.
