When to use Stress Pronouns in French
In French A1 we looked at some basic uses for stress pronouns.

You will use stress pronouns in the following cases:
- Stress pronouns will be used after prepositions.
Je pense à elle.
I am thinking about her.
Nous parlons de lui.
We are talking about him.
Est-ce pour eux ?
Is it for them?

- Stress pronouns will be used in comparisons after que.
Elle est plus intelligente que moi.
She is smarter than me.
Mon frère est aussi grand que moi.
My brother is as tall as I am.
- Stress pronouns will be used when you want to say “and” or “or”.
Danielle et moi allons au zoo.
Danielle and I are going to the zoo.
Esmée et eux sont dans la même classe.
They and Esmée are in the same class.
Tu dois choisir, Cécile ou moi.
You have to chose, Cecile or me.
Please note how the stress pronoun is always after et and ou.
