If an adjective is feminine and singular, then you have to add an extra -e at the end.
grand -> grande
petit-> petite
joli -> jolie

To make a regular adjective feminine in French, you have to add an -e at the end of the adjective.

Nouns that have le or un as the article are masculine.

There’s one more important thing that you should be aware of.
